ABOUT THIS CEREMONY AND WORKSHOP
With a combined 23 years of training and practice in the field of Clinical Psychology & Holistic Therapies, Hugo and Deya will use a considered combination of Psychological and Therapeutic skills, to help you develop effective Conscious Communication, Self-awareness and tools for Resilience and Self-care.
Cacao has been used for its medicinal and spiritual properties in ancient cultures across the Americas, and is considered the food of the gods. In this workshop we will begin with a short Cacao ceremony to create a safe and playful container to open our hearts and minds to explore new ideas and possible selves.
Following our ceremony Hugo & Deya will facilitate a session of exercises to explore a number of conscious relating practices. Including communication skills to better understand and deepen emotional safety and intimacy, communicate our needs clearly and manage triggers.
We can often find ourselves struggling to adapt, and falling back on 'old' or 'unhelpful' patterns of relating and communicating. That which has kept us safe in the past may no longer serve us in the new present. Past patterns of conflict and argument can get in the way of deeper connection. Effective communication is key to help us step out of these old patterns into new conscious relationships.
We invite you to explore with us the possibilities we all have for enjoying deeper and more meaningful relationships.
Workshops are open to individuals and couples. Please select the right workshop for you. We also encourage you to attend this online event with a friend, family, lover or house mate, anyone you are isolating with.

Words about the ceremony and workshop from past participants:
"I recently did a Cacao Ceremony and Concsious relating workshop with Deya and Hugo. Having never done anything like that, I went in a little sceptical but with an open mind. . . The Cacao ceremony was wonderful and felt enriched by having Deya facilitate it given her heritage and obvious devotion. After that we did some exercises facilitated by Hugo. These were all amazing in their own way. I left that evening with some potent food for thought and great new tactics for relating better to those around me." Lewis Renshaw
"I went to a recent cacao ceremony and conscious relating workshop with Deya and Hugo and absolutely loved it. I'm fairly new to this sort of thing, I felt welcomed, listened to, seen and loved. I loved the ceremony, I've been wanting to be a part of a spiritual group for a while, and this is exactly what I've been looking for." Charlie Melrose
"The ceremony was shared with warmth, open heartedness, joy and deep respect for the Cacao and its origins. I have been to many ceremonies over the years but there was a purity to this one and an invitation to be fully present. I usually feel a lot of emotional upheaval and heaviness with Cacao but this time it felt very light and uplifting. The conscious relating was well facilitated and held. It felt safe as a group and bonding but not too overwhelming despite us going into some deep exercises. The wisdom shared was exactly what I needed to hear. Thankyou 💙" Aiyana Cole-Jones
